I am a professional artist with 10+ years experience and successfully exhibiting my artwork at El Paso Finest Gallery in El Paso Texas. I participate in local exhibits and venues in the El Paso area. The gallery is located at 314 N. Mesa Street, El Paso, Texas.
Lisa Matta is also full-time artist in El Paso, Texas.
Lisa works out of her studio in Santa Teresa, New Mexico and creates a painterly and loose style while achieving a realistic look in her paintings. She is known for her luminous and richly colored landscapes of the El Paso area, Italy, Mexico and various scenes of missions and still life that capture her imagination. She also has exhibited in numerous juried competitions and local museums. She is a Member of the El Paso Plein Air Painters
I am a local artist and exhibit my artwork at the Tubac Arts & Gifts gallery in Tubac, Arizona. I work in oil medium and acrylics. Tubac is a quaint little town just south of Tucson. Tubac gallery is all about fine art and quality crafts, many made locally, all from the Southwest. The artists, like myself, are provocative, modern and traditional with award winning talent. Hours at the gallery are open on the weekends from 11am - 4pm
I decided to use the Enso circle in my logo to represent my feelings of creativity. The enso is a representation of my true and innermost self; its creation is said to leave the artist fully exposed at that one particular moment in time.
Enso (formally spelled ensō) is a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism meaning circle, or sometimes, circle of togetherness. It is traditionally drawn using only one brushstroke as a meditative practice in letting go of the mind and allowing the body to create, as the singular brushstroke allows for no modifications. While at first glance, the enso symbol appears no more than a misshapen circle, it symbolizes many things: the beauty in imperfection, the art of letting go of expectations, the circle of life, and connection. The enso is a manifestation of the artist at the moment of creation and the acceptance of our innermost self. It symbolizes strength, elegance, and one-mindedness.
This special event will be held at the El Paso International Airport. Come join us to see what inspired me to paint my body of works. My collection of artwork will be showing until May 1, 2023. You still have time to see the display.
